Akoni: Luxury, Design and Material Play

In 2019, Salma Rachid and Rosario Tosano founded the Swiss eyewear group Akoni with the vision of redefining the luxury market. Jeff Solorio and John Juniper lead in design the eponymous brand.

A fusion of Swiss and Japanese craftsmanship, the brand prioritises high-quality materials, innovation and design with a focus on sustainability. The frames are entirely manufactured in Fukui the birthplace of traditional Japanese eyewear craftsmanship for ever a century. Akoni glasses Feature exclusive ceramic nose pads and are crafted from titanium and organic acetate sheets,  emphasizing quality and durability.
