Each year, the Bernardaud Foundation organizes a thematic exhibition which has become one of the must-see events of ceramic lovers. On the occasion of the France-Korea year 2015-2016 and the twinning of the two cities Icheon and Limoges, the Foundation presents this year fourteen Korean artists.

 

The rich history of Korean ceramics reveals itself through artists who reinterpret the national heritage beyond the traditional aesthetic, adapting to modernity, questioning the past while translating the modern globalized society.

 

The exhibition includes seventy works, never shown in France, but also paintings, photographs, video works and installations around the ceramic that reinforce, in their diverse practices, the general meaning of the event.
